Michael McClellan has over 30 years of experience serving and managing manufacturing enterprises. He has held a number of positions in general management, marketing, and engineering, including President and CEO for 3 manufacturing companies supplying capital equipment and material management systems. In addition to numerous articles and white papers on manufacturing systems, he has written two books: Applying Manufacturing Execution Systems, the first book to define and explain manufacturing execution systems and Collaborative Manufacturing: Using Real-time Information to Support the Supply Chain, the first definitive examination of collaborative manufacturing concepts. He is also a major contributor to a book on business process management titled, In Search of BPM Excellence. Mr. McClellan has served over six years on the Manufacturing Enterprise Solutions Association (MESA) Board of Directors.

Mike Yost is driven to get help to every manufacturer looking for results under the banner of I4.0, IIoT, Digital Transformation, or Smart Manufacturing. A seasoned industry veteran, Mike brings over 35 years of industrial, nonprofit, and leadership experience to the Industry 4.0 Club. He’s spent most of his career engaging and educating manufacturers on the role and value of modern information and internet technologies to transform their operations.

Mike has specialized in the Smart Manufacturing, Manufacturing Execution (MES), Manufacturing Intelligence (EMI) and Operations Management software arenas since 1999. He is a proven thought leader and domain expert on a national and global level, as evidenced by his leadership roles at MESA International, CESMII – the Smart Manufacturing Institute, and the Industry 4.0 Club. He was also a contributing expert for the World Manufacturing Forum Report in 2017 & 2019, is the creator of “project IGBYS” and the “6 Degrees of Smart Manufacturing” YouTube series, and is the host of two current LinkedIn Live series: Industry 4.0 Club’s “Fireside Chat” and CESMII’s “Smart Manufacturing Mindset” series.

Mike has strong startup experience and has held various leadership roles in automation and industrial software businesses, including GE’s Proficy Software business, Activplant Corporation and Rockwell Automation, and as Founder/Advisor to Bennit.ai. He holds a B.S. in Industrial Engineering from the Pennsylvania State University and lives in Cleveland, Ohio, U.S.A. with his wife and five children.

Jan Snoeij is a part-time business consultant at JS MOM-Consulting delivering independent education and consultancy services in manufacturing operations management. He retired as President and Senior Consultant of the Manufacturing Operations Management Institute in July 2023.

For more than 40 years, Jan has assisted companies in improving their production and business performances by making use of information systems and other innovative and ‘smart’ technologies.

He has broad experiences in many different industry sectors, varying from metals and automotive to chemicals and from high-tech electronics to food & beverage and pharmaceuticals.

Jan holds an MSc degree in Applied Physics from the Technical University of Eindhoven (NL). He has presented papers about a wide range of subjects related to manufacturing and business performance improvement at many industry events.

Jan is actively involved in MESA International as a member at large of the International Board and various committees and working groups. He is an approved instructor of the MESA Global Education Program. MESA International awarded him the Outstanding Contributor Award.

Mark Macioce, currently Chief Information Officer (CIO) & Vice President of Information Technology at Masco Corporation, has a storied career spanning over 23 years primarily in the manufacturing and industrial sectors. Located in Ohio, Mark has held impactful roles at distinguished companies like General Electric, Pentair, Aleris International (now part of Novelis), and Synthomer plc. Specializing in the nexus of business strategy and technological innovation, he excels in crafting strategy and complimentary execution plans. He has a strong track record in managing complex business environments and corporate transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures, and ensuring seamless transitions with technology integrations.

Mark has a passion and wealth of experience in process, data and technologies which support product development through commercialization. He excels at bringing innovative ideas from the conceptual stage to the market, enhancing a company’s product portfolio across both digital and non-digital channels. His unique skill set enables him to bridge the digital divide that often exists in manufacturing settings, seamlessly connecting the ‘shop floor’ with the ‘digital shelf.’ This ensures a holistic integration of both technology and data across the entire business value chain, enhancing efficiency and competitiveness. Mark was the recipient of the Greater Cleveland Chamber’s 2021 CIO Leader of the Year and most recently, in 2022, one of Crain’s Cleveland Most Notable Executives in Technology.

Beyond his corporate endeavors, Mark maintains an active engagement with his local community and is an advocate for leaders and innovation which advance technology and manufacturing in the region. He resides in Ohio with his wife and four children and commits his time to serving on the boards of Civista Bank (NASDAQ: CIVB) and OhioGuidestone, a non-profit organization focused on behavioral health and patient outcomes. Mark holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from Pennsylvania State University and a Master’s in Computer Science & Engineering from Gannon University.

Joseph Wilds

FJA is an Insurance Technology company with 8.000 employees and over $1.6 Billion in annual revenue. As Chief Growth Officer he is accountable for: Health care Strategy, Operations, Customer Experience, Business Development and overall strategic direction of company.

Joe is responsible for delivering FJA’s solutions and technology strategy. Joe works collaboratively with the product teams and customers to spot and set industry trends in order to enhance existing capabilities and identify new product and services opportunities. Joe has 20 years of experience in strategic planning and marketing at Blue Cross Blue Shield and was CEO of Regence Life and Health. Prior to joining FJA, Joe was Managing Principal of Health Care at Maddock Douglas, an agency of innovation focused on helping large brands bring new ideas to market.

In 2011, his fund-raising work on behalf of local children who survived blood cancer awarded him a nomination for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society’s Man of the Year. He won the 40 Under 40 Executive Award from the Portland Business Journal and currently serves on the Board of Directors at Root Health. He has an MBA from Washington State University, where he also is a top-rated adjunct professor.
